Through A Glass Brightly

clear

Clear And Clean In Context

We all want not only our mundane vision but also our logic to be clear and clean. Problems should be thought through with a clear head, an untroubled mind. What does this have to do with the southern California White Sage? Occasionally, my singular focus on traditional values embodied in our White Sage products obscures Lucky Six Farms’ overall mission. Thus, I am sometimes asked: “What good is White Sage for those of us who don’t participate in any ceremonies or follow any particular spiritual path? What if no recent conflicts or arguments have clouded my psychic atmosphere?” Such questions are highly relevant, and I like to address them by using the analogy of eyeglasses and windows: instruments we regularly employ to get a better view of the world around us. However, such ideal perspectives, once achieved, rarely stay that way. We must work to keep them clear and clean.

Clear And Clean In Theory

So whatever our status and role in life, it is vital to perceive our immediate physical environment with utmost clarity. Because of this, we take pains to clean our eyeglasses and wash our windows - even if we must resort to breath’s scant moisture for scrubbing lenses or premiums to reward professional window-washers for their labor atop hundred-story skyscrapers. Dirt and cloudiness are natural concomitants of use, so regular cleansing becomes a necessity if we value consistency.

Clear And Clean In Practice

Similarly, the deep mind, the subconscious, ultimately allows or obscures key perceptions. It is the primordial lens through which we see and react to the world. If sullied or turbulent, it distorts our understanding and creates hazardous illusions. If clean and transparent, it smooths our journey no matter what the goal. Our pure, certified organic White Sage products may be likened to a glass cleaner for the psyche. Their effectiveness in this capacity has been proven for centuries. Today, thanks to the Internet, it is easier than ever to keep our internal vision open, bright, clean, and clear.

The Portal of 7 Leaves

travel

Mind Travel

Our minds travel through many realms at the speed of thought. But can we take measures to actively assist that movement? I would answer in the affirmative: here’s why. My enthusiasm for the remarkably purifying power of our White Sage products often elicits skeptical inquiries. "Perhaps Lucky Six Farms' aromatics are relevant for highly structured ceremonies," is the common refrain, "but can your products really provide significant help for me, an individual seeker dedicated to a uniquely personal Path?" I simply advise such people to put the matter to a definitive test and find out the truth for themselves. My recommended procedure is both easy to carry out and extremely economical; I call it the Portal of 7 Leaves. By availing yourself of my special Portal, your facility for intellectual and imaginative travel can be significantly improved.

Travel To Creative Realms

On the first day of the week, just prior to your regular prayer, spiritual study, or meditation, place a single White Sage leaf in an ashtray, ceramic bowl, or similar open-top, heat-resistant container and ignite. Do the same also for the ensuing six days. Then honestly evaluate the level of insight and energy gained for the week. Compare your results to the typical experience obtained throughout many other weeks when White Sage was omitted! You will probably find that even this basic purification of space and person generated a whole new perspective on your efforts, as if a hitherto unseen door into Wisdom was thrown open.
