The Book of Nature

science

Science Pro And Con

Science has underscored the value of concrete experience. For that, we certainly owe it a profound debt of gratitude. What a pity, then, that its message for post-modern society has been distorted into a dogma of simple-minded materialism. Originally a tool to better understand definitive regularities of our universe, science gradually mutated into a doctrinaire, hidebound theology sans spirit that throttles fully as much creative thought as it encourages. Courageous geniuses who boldly blazed science’s trail over the course of centuries - often against hideous opposition - firmly rejected such narrow reductionist blinders. Bacon, Galileo, Cardan, Dee, Newton, Leibnitz, Gauss, Ramanujan and a thousand other luminaries of science and math lovingly embraced the numinous and openly sought guidance from the Divine.

What Has Science Wrought?

Patronizing pundits and the popular press never tire of excoriating those who question their reductionist line. Yet, a growing number of people from every walk of life understand there is indeed much more to life than what can be quantitatively weighed and instrumentally measured. Their respect for Nature’s innermost secrets may be well concealed today, but it has not been lost. Nor is their desire to actively probe phenomena for deeper truth. Experiment yields profound insight only when firmly guided by wisdom. Those who mistakenly believe they serve science by summary rejection of processes beyond linear mechanism do a great injustice to their own cause. At Lucky Six Farms, we work directly with the holistic wonder of Nature: it forges our everyday reality. And glowing testimonies from our clients and customers speak to the daily experimental verification of those eminently natural truths.

The Science Of The Psyche

Our products are not stamped out by the cold cookie-cutters of commercialized industry. Rather, they result from our reading the vibrant, living book of Nature, day by day, season by season, year by year. That is why our pure, energizing White Sage essential oils, hydrosols, smudge bundles, cones and whole leaves consistently bring people into harmony with both their external environments and their internal selves.

Truth in Numbers

math

Math As History

Math is an important part of our daily life, but it sometimes calls up some rather recondite associations. For example, I am often asked about the etiology of our business name: “Why in the world did you choose to call yourselves ‘Lucky Six' Farms?” At first blush, the title appears rather offbeat since the most familiar “lucky” number in Western parlance is seven, a verbal association probably derived from the initial winning roll in a craps game. Of course, we don’t have any interest in gambling. In fact, our name originates somewhere in the dim and distant past, when settlers chose that mysterious moniker for the very first rough, steep trail winding up the boulder-strewn mountainside. So, it seems the boldest lineaments of our business math reach much further than the dry columns of our ledger books.

Math As Symbol

Can we find out any more? Why would the number six be considered especially fortunate? Although we note that recorded California history sheds little light on the question, perhaps a better approach lies through more ancient traditions of numerical symbolism. Thus, we can immediately recognize six as the number of the Macrocosm par excellence. Redolent with cosmic implications and transcendent wisdom echoing from our most inclusive visions of time and space, six then transmogrifies into a metaphysically ideal number by which we may express our organic Farm’s eclectic intents and goals.

Math As Truth

In addition, we really offer six different, uniquely purifying products: White Sage essential oil, hydrosol, smudge bundles, proprietary-formula smudge cones, and whole leaves. But, you undoubtedly observe, that only adds up to five! True - because the sixth, our most important product of all, comes gratis with each of the others. That product is love, profound love of our Mother Earth and all of her children. So the combination totals a very Lucky Six indeed!

Through A Glass Brightly

clear

Clear And Clean In Context

We all want not only our mundane vision but also our logic to be clear and clean. Problems should be thought through with a clear head, an untroubled mind. What does this have to do with the southern California White Sage? Occasionally, my singular focus on traditional values embodied in our White Sage products obscures Lucky Six Farms’ overall mission. Thus, I am sometimes asked: “What good is White Sage for those of us who don’t participate in any ceremonies or follow any particular spiritual path? What if no recent conflicts or arguments have clouded my psychic atmosphere?” Such questions are highly relevant, and I like to address them by using the analogy of eyeglasses and windows: instruments we regularly employ to get a better view of the world around us. However, such ideal perspectives, once achieved, rarely stay that way. We must work to keep them clear and clean.

Clear And Clean In Theory

So whatever our status and role in life, it is vital to perceive our immediate physical environment with utmost clarity. Because of this, we take pains to clean our eyeglasses and wash our windows - even if we must resort to breath’s scant moisture for scrubbing lenses or premiums to reward professional window-washers for their labor atop hundred-story skyscrapers. Dirt and cloudiness are natural concomitants of use, so regular cleansing becomes a necessity if we value consistency.

Clear And Clean In Practice

Similarly, the deep mind, the subconscious, ultimately allows or obscures key perceptions. It is the primordial lens through which we see and react to the world. If sullied or turbulent, it distorts our understanding and creates hazardous illusions. If clean and transparent, it smooths our journey no matter what the goal. Our pure, certified organic White Sage products may be likened to a glass cleaner for the psyche. Their effectiveness in this capacity has been proven for centuries. Today, thanks to the Internet, it is easier than ever to keep our internal vision open, bright, clean, and clear.

Art, Nature & Sacred Sage

sacred sage

The Why Of Sacred Sage

Sacred sage was little thought of at the turn of the twentieth century. But the few decades that followed turned our familiar universe upside-down while highlighting conceptual vistas rarely dreamed of for centuries. During those early years of the last century the predominant Western view of how we fit into our universe underwent a sea change. A veritable avalanche of novel and surprising findings from an array of disciplines stunned the public and set even the most complacent citizens on edge. The world was no longer solid or simple; it could no longer be taken for granted or its paradigms filed away in the dusty drawer of common sense. While staid science was riven by quantum theory, relativity, and higher-dimensioned geometry, the art world took its first tentative steps into abstraction, plumbing phantasmagoric revelations from primordial archetypes. Many of the most original thinkers, like Arp, Kandinsky, and Klee became vivid articulators of society’s dawning vision. All agreed that the real processes of creation are the same in art and nature. Hitherto recondite topics like sacred sage suddenly began to acquire a new valence

New Science, New Lifestyle

So radical was this revised understanding that a century later we are still integrating it into our lifestyles. Scientific alchemy had changed our perspective. Vital components of this effort may be observed throughout the globe in ecological movements, New-Age thought, religious eclecticism, and burgeoning respect for traditional forms of Earth-centered spirituality. Both Lucky Six Farms and its land leaseholder Madre Grande Monastery have their roots in this expansive, radiant awareness.

Scents And Sensibility

The White Sage we organically cultivate is a direct product of Nature’s artistry. Taking our cue from her painstaking aesthetic, we craft our essential oils, hydrosols, smudge bundles and cones so that the original purity of the plant spirit is consistently retained and enhanced. As artists working hand-in-hand with Nature, we can confidently promulgate her energizing power even as we share her benevolent intent.

Dreams of the Great Mother

calm

Maternal Calm

We feel her immutable bright calm in the floating hours just before dawn
, before we can even perceive the outlines of her form with our eyes. We are heartened by her strength, inspired by her presence. When the disk of the sun moves over her, we can finally see her in full glory. She lies quiet but imposing, gently circumscribing our northeastern horizon. Eyes half closed in millennial repose, granite lips barely parted in the bright air, she dreams, weaving her maternal impulses into tangible form. She has given birth to the tangible and numinous, to creatures sharp and soft, to insights profound and simple. Those who have learned to know her, shamans, warriors, and the canny, may even be privileged to part the veil of her nocturnal visions, for they understand she is too wise to vanish into the stygian depths of sleep. Her calm is a paradox, filled with energy yet unperturbed.

Cosmic Calm

She is Madre Grande, the Great Mother, the mountain who lent her fame to the healing, teaching Monastery which, ensconced in her shadow, now bears her name and proud reputation. No one who settles near her remains untouched by her ancient power. We, who wild-craft and process her signal child, the purifying White Sage, love her. Long ago, during harrowing times, foreign conquerors sensed her displeasure and tried to blunt her magick. Although they mockingly twisted her into droll Mother Grundy, such a slight proved easy to ignore. Words without substance blow away like dust cast against a whirlwind. While truth may be silenced, it will never remain concealed.

Unique Calm Of Madre Grande's White Sage

Living and working daily in her shadow, we cannot forget the truth of her being. Like the indigenous Tribes, we continue to honor the mysteries channeled through her rough-hewn flesh. Our White Sage products, offerings of Lucky Six Farms which calm bodies while energizing minds worldwide, mark our tribute to her cosmic fruitfulness.

Pride of Place

energy

Energy Of Land And People

Can energy embody character? Can it embrace an actual persona rather than coarsely quantifiable material quality? Even hard-hearted reductionists grant that energy manifests through a plethora of diverse forms: heat, electricity, sound, torque, nuclear binding, and more. Could there be subtle dimensions as well? Certainly, the idea is not new nor confined to non-Western societies. Oswald Spengler along with many other close observers of history firmly believed that each land, each geographically unique portion of our Earth leaves an indelible psychic mark on its indigenous people, animals, and plants. They held that pieces of the grand mosaic that is our Earth shape the outlook of their long-term residents as thoroughly as they themselves were shaped by pressure of immense geologic forces. The notion may seem quaint and even curious today, but could it possibly contain a grain of truth? Could there be hidden wisdom in the idea that our planet’s many mansions hold a variegated array of energy treasures so special that no two are really the same?

White Sage Energy

We who organically wild-craft and process essential oil, hydrosol, smudge bundles, cones, and whole leaves for Lucky Six Farms often remark how the striking southern California landscape and White Sage reflect the very same purifying energy, so that the two often appear inextricably interlinked. Thus pride of place is an important part of our heritage and that of our products, too.

Compassionate Energy

White Sage is the unmistakably radiant daughter of this austere yet beautiful, sun-soaked space. Those who live and work here feel it clearly. Every peak in our southern California high desert is studded with strangely shaped boulders: the most prominent still bear heroic titles testifying to Native legends long turned to myth. In the midst of this luminous court, the White Sage whorls open their blue-green leaves to an influx of life-giving energy. By sending our products around the world, we hope to share that familiar, compassionate, constructive power.

Alternate Paths

style

Style Expresses Your Personality

Style came into its own early in the last century. The famous modern painter Mondrian held that all artistic effort could be boiled down to a search for - or adroit use of - one’s personal style. A sturdy bucket turned upside-down makes a good stool, and many locks can be opened through adroit manipulation of a bobby pin. So what? Everything depends upon what you manage to do with the world you perceive. Clearly, the bottom-line in both spiritual and material worlds is always defined by results, even though these may be accomplished in unusual - or even stylish - ways. In fact, creativity itself is usually described as “thinking outside of the box.” Is your style original or slavish, cosmic or constricted?

Style Liberates Rather Than Limits

Style defines how we integrate into our belief systems, too. Since we understand concepts through unique sets of experience and sensibility, we can grasp the essence of ideas in ways totally new. Through the years, I have been amazed at the highly original uses some Lucky Six Farms customers have found for each and every one of our traditional White Sage products. For example, our larger smudge bundles have been successfully employed as wands for a variety of Wiccan and magickal ceremonies. Similarly, our proprietary-formula smudge cones and whole leaves have served quite well as potent adjuncts to banishing rituals. Experiments in Chaos Magick have utilized our hydrosols. Crystal balls, mirrors, and other divination tools may also be prepared via any one of our ultra-pure products prior to formal charging.

Our Style Is Universal

Lucky Six Farms and the lease-holder of its fields, Madre Grande Monastery, are firmly committed to an eclectic vision of humanity’s spirituality. Thus, we are always delighted to hear of new, unorthodox channels of insight and empowerment opened via our products. The pure, certified organic White Sage we lovingly cultivate is living testimony to the one sacred Earth we all share.

Alchemical Perspectives

universe

Paracelsus’ Universe

Is there only one way - the scientific method - to plumb the mysteries of the universe and ourselves? Such a blinkered notion is a relatively modern conceit born largely of complacency bestowed upon us by technology. Yet, that veneer of supercilious surety wears thin for many; some of the more thoughtful among us have scratched through it entirely. Case in point: Because we at Lucky Six Farms lease our White Sage fields from California's Madre Grande Monastery, frequent and fruitful dialogue naturally flows between the two institutions. Keen observations of Paracelsus, the 16th Century father of systematic botany, usually come to highlight such discussions, as several monks and friars are thoroughly conversant with his works. Why should Paracelsus elicit our interest? Perhaps because he was also the founder of spagyrics - little-known as a word today - which was a method by which key alchemical insights could be applied to plant-based therapeutics. I believe even today Paracelsus’ universe is congruent with our own.

The Alchemical Universe

Paracelsus emphasized a three-fold division in every plant species: a gross physical form, an underlying fundamental character, and a universally transformative component. As a convenient short-hand, he termed the first "salt," the second "sulfur," and the third "mercury." (Of course, these strictly spagyric terms-of-art bore no connection to their common, everyday meanings.) The second aspect in particular, i.e. spagyric sulfur, is what provides each species its own highly unique array of practical uses. Thus, it might be seen as analogous to the individual human personality.

Our Universe Of Living Energy

Paracelsus was familiar with White Sage and believed its character to be Jovian, that is highly purifying, mentally energizing, yet physically relaxing. Even today, students of spagyrics recommend White Sage fumigation to cleanse areas where conflicts and arguments have occurred. It is fascinating to note that Paracelsus' opinion is fully congruent with that held by Native American cultures, although no known communication took place between him and representatives of the latter. Clearly, the beneficial power of White Sage has been independently recognized by wisdom-holders of the most diverse backgrounds and traditions. We at Lucky Six Farms are proud to offer it to you in the same spirit of universality!

The Portal of 7 Leaves

travel

Mind Travel

Our minds travel through many realms at the speed of thought. But can we take measures to actively assist that movement? I would answer in the affirmative: here’s why. My enthusiasm for the remarkably purifying power of our White Sage products often elicits skeptical inquiries. "Perhaps Lucky Six Farms' aromatics are relevant for highly structured ceremonies," is the common refrain, "but can your products really provide significant help for me, an individual seeker dedicated to a uniquely personal Path?" I simply advise such people to put the matter to a definitive test and find out the truth for themselves. My recommended procedure is both easy to carry out and extremely economical; I call it the Portal of 7 Leaves. By availing yourself of my special Portal, your facility for intellectual and imaginative travel can be significantly improved.

Travel To Creative Realms

On the first day of the week, just prior to your regular prayer, spiritual study, or meditation, place a single White Sage leaf in an ashtray, ceramic bowl, or similar open-top, heat-resistant container and ignite. Do the same also for the ensuing six days. Then honestly evaluate the level of insight and energy gained for the week. Compare your results to the typical experience obtained throughout many other weeks when White Sage was omitted! You will probably find that even this basic purification of space and person generated a whole new perspective on your efforts, as if a hitherto unseen door into Wisdom was thrown open.

A Gentler Approach

power

Understanding Power

The signal characteristic of power, in whatever guise or form it may appear, is the ready acknowledgment of its presence. Powerful people, groups, and agents are almost always surrounded by protective barriers or insulating forces. From childhood, we learn it is dangerous to approach sources of power too closely. Burned fingers or reputations often result from reckless disregard of these caveats. Let's face it, Lucky Six Farms White Sage essential oil and smudging products are incredibly powerful purifying agents. As with all potent instruments of change, prudence must be employed whenever and wherever they are employed. Unless specific, expert advice is being closely followed, essential oils must be always be well-diluted and should not be used daily for protracted periods. Similarly, the thick, intense smoke generated by smudging bundles and cones is a power that must be respected, especially in confined areas where ventilation is poor.

Diminished Power, Increased Utility

There is a way, however, to frequently enjoy the cleansing, energizing effects of authentic White Sage with minimal concern. Lucky Six Farms hydrosol provides the perfect vehicle for gentler, yet highly effective, purification of people, places, and objects. Hydrosol is a safe alternative for areas where the very young, aged, and those with compromised immune systems are present. It may be used directly as a room spray, facial mist, and body toner.

Hydrosol Power

It is important to remember that the pure, genuine White Sage hydrosol we offer is not the same as cheap imitations now being sold under the same rubric. Real hydrosol is the product of a specialized and complex distillation process and contains an array of delicate plant components not found in the corresponding essential oil. There is no short-cut to the production of fine hydrosol, just as there are no cut-rate, industrial routes to the prayerful dedication that has made all of Lucky Six Farms White Sage products valued worldwide.

Earthlight

network

Our Network Of Life

We have always lived and had our being via a network. Contrary to popular opinion, widespread networking did not begin - and will not conclude - with the World Wide Web, let alone cloud computing. Rather, from our beginnings in the mists of a historical time we have been intimately interlinked with entities near and far, great and small. Thus, cultivating a plant as purifying as White Sage irrevocably changes those who do it. This is especially true for the staff of Lucky Six Farms who are wholeheartedly committed to manifesting the Earth's illuminating wisdom. Having little faith or trust in popular reductionist methods that increase production at the cost of organic integrity, we seek to bring ourselves into enlightening communion not only with the Plant Spirit but also the immense network of natural connections supporting it.

Network Of Energy

Plants, like people, never really exist as isolated, wholly autonomous islands of being. It is an illusion to imagine otherwise. Like individuals playing out their roles in high cultures, plants rely on a functional network of others for protection, nutrition, stimulation, information, and energetic support. A plethora of animal, vegetal, mineral, elemental, and spiritual entities link one to another in a spectacular array of connections for the White Sage to thrive. We actively participate in that process, so that our ultimate goal - the finest, purest White Sage aromatics possible - can be realized consistently, day in and day out, through every season of the year.

The Divine Network

We believe that our relationship to the White Sage and those who appreciate its power have made us better somehow. Perhaps because we feel humbler in the face of the extraordinary Mystery infusing and sustaining all life. And because we believe that the compassion and openness shining through our White Sage products can open a window of Divine truth to the customers we serve.

An Elder Speaks

American

American Heritage

Our company and its employees revere our American homeland and all of its people. We recognize, too, that this heritage is immensely complex. It can never be reduced to bumper-sticker slogans or simplistic philosophies. But when our historical memory tends to be short, our enthusiasm readily fills in the blanks, whether factually or erroneously. It's a familiar trait that is only human. Too often, people speak of relatively recent practices as if they were firmly rooted in a venerable heritage. So I am sometimes accused of placing too much emphasis on the importance of White Sage in Native American ritual. Do indigenous cultures really respect White Sage smudging as an indispensable means for quickly dispelling undesirable psychic influences on special occasions? Is the purifying energy of White Sage really part of our incredible American heritage?

American Purity

To answer this question authoritatively I will take the liberty of citing a recent statement by Anthony R. Pico, tribal council chairman of the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians just prior to the singing of their famous, powerfully spiritual bird songs: “The smudging blessing is a cleansing ceremony that rids us of negative emotion and negative energy. From our perspective the joy and electricity it creates causes us to be in the frame of mind of goodness and forgiveness of one another.” The simple clarity and eloquence of his declaration requires no further elucidation.

American Products

Lucky Six Farms has been firmly committed to making the purifying current of White Sage available throughout the world. Our essential oils, hydrosols, smudge bundles, proprietary ultra pure smudge cones, and whole leaves testify to the wisdom of Native Americans who have recognized and sought out the benefits of this rare plant for thousands of years. When you employ our White Sage products, you can be confident that its legendary strength - undiluted, unpolluted, unmitigated - will always meet your highest expectations.

Back to the Future

holistic

Our Holistic View

A holistic perspective on life is, in reality, the most thoughtful and mature. Bombarded by manipulative exhortations to compartmentalize all facets of existence and even ourselves, we forget how to prioritize needs, wants, and goals. For example, our immediate environment carries enormous influence on the way we feel and the work we accomplish. Beautiful surroundings tend to elevate our thoughts and inspire creativity, while ugly areas often lower expectations, arousing anxiety and base instincts. But do such obvious effects imply even more significant connections between the spaces where we live out our lives and the most profound roots of our being? Most of us at Lucky Six Farms would enthusiastically reply in the affirmative. How can we justify such an uncompromisingly holistic approach?

Our Holistic History

We wild-craft authentic White Sage only in the tiny region of the world which is its natural home: the stark, rocky high deserts of extreme southern California and northern Mexico. In the past, remote tribes throughout the Continent sought out White Sage as a rare commodity, exchanging valuable goods to obtain even small amounts. Recent archaeological work has shown human society in these celestially austere White Sage grounds goes back at least ten-thousand years. We didn't have to wait for these findings to be scientifically confirmed, though. Our active continuity with Native American culture is evident every day we walk this land, laboring to bring forth the purifying power which emanates from it and testifies to its heritage.

Our Holistic Products

Lucky Six Farms understands that past and present, ancient wisdom and modern insight, dynamically unite in every one of our products. Our essential White Sage oils, hydrosols, smudge bundles, cones, and whole leaves are as dramatically effective today as they were a hundred centuries ago. Energizing the mind as it calms the body, White Sage is a signal child of this remarkable region of North America. We feel privileged to extend its blessings, venerable as Mother Earth herself, to every corner of today's complex world.

The Company We Keep

people

People Need People

You can tell a lot about about people - and organizations, for that matter - by their close associates. As every seasoned salesperson knows, people tend to favor those who closely share their own opinions, habits, and ideas. Conversely, the groups we belong to exert an incredibly powerful influence on us. Of course, our inner drive to conform can serve laudable or lamentable ends. Virtually all will readily acknowledge the detrimental effects of “hanging out with a rough crowd,” but only a few comprehend the very real soul-elevating power generated by the sincerely motivated benevolence of certain groups. Despite strident rhetoric, people rarely function alone: they link their lives to long chains established by others.

Seeing The Reality of People

Groups can only be fairly evaluated when we learn to move past the superficial and penetrate to the truth of the people within. Even ostensibly upstanding citizens may merit another look if they habitually associate with the notorious. Seemingly altruistic charities or public-action groups probably won't live up to their selfless rhetoric if their financial lifeblood flows from conglomerates with venal agendas. The inverse is also true, of course. The famous Underground Railway which led so many slaves to freedom during the Nineteenth Century was inextricably linked to a large network of abolitionist church congregations. Today, many food banks and co-operatives provide wholesome nourishment at reasonable cost only because of their intimate ties to concerned businesses and individuals.

Loving People Make Loving Products

At Lucky Six Farms, we pride ourselves on our long-standing relationship to Madre Grande Monastery. All of the fields where we cultivate the sacred White Sage are leased directly from the Monastery. The connection is neither arbitrary nor accidental. For four decades, Madre Grande has been well-known not only throughout its southern California home but around the world for remarkable teaching and healing work. Arising from that same spirit, each and every one of our pure, certified organic, wild-crafted products is consciously created to support humanity's health, well-being, and fundamental unity. We wouldn't have it any other way!

Spiritual Chemistry

power

Mundane And Supramundane Power

Can we truly understand the power of a sacred plant? Engineers and scientists strive to get a handle on the notion of power through clearly delineated quantitative measures such as watts and joules. But there is a deep intuitive understanding that real power exists in realms transcending the material. Currently, Lucky Six Farms devotes 100% of its organic wild-crafting and processing efforts to a single plant species, the White Sage (Salvia apiana), which is indigenous only to high-desert regions of southern California and northern Mexico. We do this so we can focus our efforts on upholding the spiritual power of this extraordinary plant.

Power Comes From Concerted Effort

We want our work to be straightforward and unmitigated by superfluous concerns. While we may, in the future, consider cultivation of other similarly beneficial, traditionally sacred vegetation, we make no apologies for the long-standing, singular focus that has established our reputation. The reason? We believe it is far more important to accomplish one task perfectly than several marginally. Because White Sage products have occupied the center of our working lives for decades, we have learned a great deal about not only its spiritual characteristics but its biochemical ones as well. For example, our White Sage contains liberal quantities of unusual pentacyclic triterpenes, fascinating, highly bioactive agents that have only recently garnered scientific attention for their immune-boosting power.

Perceiving White Sage Power

Of course, Lucky Six Farms makes no medically-related claims of any kind for our lines of organic, ultra-pure White Sage essential oils, hydrosols, smudge wands and cones, or whole leaves. But it is interesting to note that all indigenous tribes of the American Southwest have viewed this plant as intrinsically wholesome, healthful, and profoundly purifying. Our customers also share this perception. I personally believe a golden kernel of truth informs such strong, traditional perspectives.

Living Space

cleanse

Ways To Cleanse Negativity

The verb cleanse tends to be associated with material spaces. We recognize that clean interiors tend to be healthier for our bodies and minds than dirty ones. Few would think of eating, entertaining, or simply spending much time in rooms that are never cleaned. Yet how many of us reason the same way about psychic spaces, that is, rooms we regularly use for meditation or prayer? Saints, sages, and enlightened teachers from time immemorial have recognized that rites can only be effective if held in areas that have first been deliberately cleansed of accumulated negative vibrations. While there are, of course, a variety of ways to achieve such a thorough cleanse of psychic space, one of the quickest and easiest methods is readily available today.

Cleanse With White Sage

White Sage has been successfully employed for millennia by Native American healers seeking fast yet effective purification of areas set aside for deep contemplation or focused ritual. Virtually each and every ceremony, from shamanic interventions to sweat lodges, is preceded by formal smudging with bundles of White Sage. Today, this procedure is no longer confined to First Nation communities: now, an immense variety of disparate traditions have realized the power of White Sage to rapidly dispel undesirable psychic residua. Unfortunately, however, a little knowledge can prove dangerous. Unscrupulous vendors have taken advantage of the sacred plant's reputation to push cheap but impure - and thus ineffective - White Sage aromatics into the worldwide marketplace.

Purity Assures A Cleanse Extraordinaire

Lucky Six Farms, which leases its fields from Madre Grande Monastery, has, from the first, dedicated all its energies to remedying the situation. We supply only authentic White Sage products to those who appreciate the effort involved in pursuing spiritual paths. Our essential oils, hydrosols, whole leaves, smudge cones, and bundles are wild-crafted and certified organic. They have been specifically formulated and approved for traditional ceremonial use. We believe the integrity we bring to our products helps make the world a better place, and we feel privileged to offer the fruits of our love and labor directly to you.
